Cathie was a lovely lady and a hardworking member of our community. She was a highly respected member of Campbeltown Community Council for over 15 years, where her knowledge, of Campbeltown, the surrounding areas and the people, was invaluable. She instigated the annual Old Folks Concert at Christmas. She was the driving force behind the annual firework display at Dalintober. Sadly, in more recent times, both discontinued. Cathie worked tirelessly for the whole community, a member of Millknowe & Dalintober Tenants & Residents Association and the organiser of the Monday Social club, just a few of the many organisations and events in which she participated. She did so much for the town, always cheery and always had time to speak to people.
She will be missed.
